Key responsibilities
A Baggage Handler is responsible for collecting, sorting and checking luggage against flight manifests to ensure that the luggage is loaded onto the correct aircraft. They use trucks, conveyor systems and loaders to move freight and passenger luggage around the airport terminal.
You can work as a Baggage Handler with no formal qualifications. You can also enter through a traineeship.
